HEART DISEASE:

Microgreens are a rich source of polyphenols, a class of antioxidants linked to a lower risk of heart disease. Animal studies show that microgreens are effective at lowering triglyceride and “bad” LDL cholesterol levels (11 12, 13)

ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE:

Antioxidant-rich foods, specifically high in polyphenols, may be linked to a lower risk of Alzheimer’s disease. Microgreens have up to 40 times the amount of antioxidants than mature plants (4, 14 ,15).

DIABETES:

Antioxidants help reduce the type of stress that can prevent sugar from properly entering cells. All cruciferous vegetables produce Sulforaphane, but Broccoli microgreens have 100 times the amount than mature plants (10).
